This is a superb restaurant with excellent food and very good service. The atmosphere is very active with patrons enjoying their meal. I would highly recommend this restaurant to those and enjoy good food good drink, and good service service.

The food and service are first class! I will for sure be back. I would recommend halibut and scrimp app. The manhattans are good as well.

Wow wow wow!!! The experience at Eleven South was 5 stars plus! I made reservations online and arrived early. Without wait, I was seated in the outdoor area which is super cozy and would make a great meeting spot for a date or special occasion (and judging by the many couples that night, locals know and appreciate this already). Superstar waiter Jeremy patiently and passionately explained the menu and specials to me, providing expert guidance and recommendations. He was so friendly and accommodating, it felt like we're friends, which I love because going to a fancy restaurant alone always feels a little awkward. I ordered a drink to start and the Burrata Caprese appetizer. Jeremy made me aware that you can add items to your order and since he spoke so highly of the scallops I decided to add two to the salad. The presentation is beautiful and holy smokes - this must have been the BEST Burrata I've ever had (I'm a cheese lover and had plenty!). It's locally made and so melt-in-your-mouth I enjoyed it all. The scallops were fantastic, tomatoes fresh and ripe, but that cheese stole the show in the best way possible! For my main course, I went with the duck breast which was wonderful. Flavors are layered and complex, allowing all ingredients to shine through thoroughly. For dessert, I went out with a bang (cause why not), and ordered the Aztec Martini (yowza! Delicious!) and the peach cheesecake. Delightful!!! Throughout the evening, Jeremy checked in with me, asking about timing preferences for my courses and if everything was to my liking (clearly, YES!). Overall, an evening to remember and certainly a spot to return to when I'm in Jacksonville the next time.

Ordered a couple of their specials: salmon crudo (appetizer) and three tail fish (entree). Really enjoyed their garlic butter for the bread. Server was nice to bring us extra bread! Bread pudding was good but wished it wasn't so dense. Fish was tasty but could have done without the grains as it wasn't that flavorful. Salad was pretty good. Salmon crudo was probably my fav. Ambiance is nice but a little loud. Would def go again to try other dishes!

First time trying Eleven South! The parking lot is small but they offer valet to make it easy! We got the steak tartare, cheese and the melon/feta salad to start. They were all tasty but the salad was by far my favorite. It was hydrating and refreshing. I got the salmon as my entree and it was delicious! The risotto under it was incredible! Make sure you save room for dessert. We got the banana foster bread pudding but I'd love to go back and try the pistachio cheesecake! Our server was prompt, attentive and personable with recommendations. We sat outside which was still a little hot even with a later reservation but we dressed for it!

Hugh end dinner spot. Great service with our waiter. Elegant surroundings. Food was phenomenal. Enjoyed my lamb chops.

Love Eleven South! The best martinis and happy hour (although I'm not sure if happy hour ever resumed after the covid shut down). Food and service is almost always top notch. Great place for a romantic dinner or when you are celebrating something special. This particular dining experience wasn't Eleven South quality but we still enjoyed our meal. Heads up it gets LOUD inside and on the patio. Favorite Drink: Espresso Martini Favorite App: Baked Oysters Favorite Entree: always the fish special Favorite Dessert: Crème brûlée

Went to Eleven South for a Team dinner and it was sooo good! Due to our party size, we had to sit outside in the covered patio area. At first we thought it may be too hot but turns out it wasn't bad at all so don't let the outside seating scare you! Our server was very attentive and an actual sommelier so very knowledgeable about the wine list, which we loved because abunch of us are wine-os! To start we ordered several apps including the beef tartare, grilled octopus (OMG), bread service, crab cake, short rib bruschetta, and escargot. The apps truly are the highlight of the menu in my eyes! You cannot go wrong with anything you order. They were all so good and flavorful. The grilled octopus and escargot were the star of the show in my opinion. Even if that typically isn't your thing, I would highly recommend branching out and giving them a try! The bread service comes with sliced bread and 4 different butters, tapenades, toppings, etc and it was fantastic! For dinner I ordered the short rib which came with veggies and potatoes. It was very tender and full of flavor. Cooked to perfection and the vegetables weren't overcooked. I would've liked a little more sauce on the beef as my preference but all in all it was very good! Several people at the table ordered the lamb, steak ala carte and seafood paella. They couldn't stop raving about the lamb and paella and they definitely recommend them to future guests! I didn't get a chance to try either of these dishes but it sounds like there's good reason why Eleven South is known for these dishes. For our night cap we ordered espresso martinis and I must say they were along the lines of some of the worst I've had. I'm not sure if they were too alcohol forward and that it took away from the espresso taste, or the concoction was just off, but it was just not good. I wouldn't let them stop me from trying again but it was a bummer. I would definitely recommend Eleven South if you're looking for great apps and dinner at the beach- also, make a reservation!

We went to lunch at Eleven South. We sat in the courtyard. It was definitely a nicer ambiance than inside. I found the tables a little too close inside and it felt a bit too run down. The courtyard was nice. It felt like somewhere we'd go in Italy. We started with the shrimp. Oh my goodness. This was wonderful. We got bread to soak up the sauce. While the shrimp were a bit small and slightly over cooked, the spicy sauce was wonderful and helped disguise some of the shrimp flaws. We then moved onto the corn chowder. It needed more seasoning. The portion could be larger as well. We followed that up with the burger. Now y'all. I'm picky about my burgers. This was so well prepared and juicy...I can't even. We shared it so we could try different things. I ordered my half with a salad and hubs ordered fries. The fries came out cold and old. We asked for new ones...they were meh. The salad was tasty. The martini was delightful. The service was SLOW! He was training someone but even with that, we ended up spending two hours for a lunch that should have been an hour. He was also very forgetful. Not sure he was the right person to do the training. Inside was pretty dead. Overall, I'd go back for the burger for sure. One of the best burgers I've had in a while. The shrimp appetizer was also very good. Give them a try. Cheers.
